"Home sweet home Alabama"
This is the brilliant fall colors of the trees that greeted me as i returned to my home in Waterloo, Alabama. I've been visiting friends in Ontario, Canada. The hospitality of Canadian folks is hard to beat and i made lifelong friends that will visit here in the coming year. The road i live on is also known as "The trail of tears". This is the trail the Cherokee indian tribe was made to travel on foot because the white man wanted their land . Apon arrival to Waterloo they were loaded onto boats and shipped to Oklohoma reservations. Many American indians died of disease and starvation on this journey. Each time i travel this trail i feel the pain and dispair they felt.
