MY VERY FIRST BLOG


I'm known as Veronica or Ronnie as you prefer. I turned 60 yrs. old last Sept.12. I'm mother of 4 wonderful children; Marie, Matthew, Walter and Bruce, 8 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren.I have lived in Florida for the last 45 yrs.I'm seeking to change my life style and get back to the basics. I'm wanting to move to the country setting. Northern Alabama or Onterio, Canada.

I've met a friend in Canada. I'm now enjoying his hospitality during the holidays: Christmas and the New Year's. The new year is looking up for me! While here on the banks of the Temagami River (see above photo), among the things we have done lately was to hike up the snow covered road(not as easy as you might think for a Florida girl we chose a beautifully rounded tree to decorate for Christmas. We dragged it home, with me panting like a puppy. Navigating sand is more my speed. Next on the agenda was getting the ice and snow off the branches. My friend, known lovingly as,' My Love' went and retrieved a hammer, nails and a few pieces of wood. And, voila, instant tree stand. To make a long story short, I'.m having the time of my life I will never forget Christmas of 2005 in an old farm house on the edge of the wilderness, with good, food and good company.
