My Meme (what makes me me)

(1) I was born in Pennsylvania...close to Lancaster...My ancesters were of thesimple Amish , Mennonite faith and were one of the original families to settle Lancaster. Sur name "Brenneman" They came from Germany and Switzerland during "William Penns' great experiment (religous freedom). (2) As years go by, my faith and love of God sustains and comforts me. Life has a way of throwing those unexpected blows. Such as the most recent, sudden death of my 35 year old son. My mother, father ,brother,all my grandparents and many friends preceeded him in the last 15 years. I'm ready to follow when Jesus comes for me. (3) I was blessed with a loving and nutureing family. 4 wonderful children. (One daughter and three sons). 8 grand children (4 girls & 4 boys). 2 Great grand children (1 boy & 1 girl). (4) I have been blessed with good health in my 62 years. I have a few little problems (hight blood pressure, low thyroid and psoriasis) but consider these things just a inconvience. Many people have life threatening diseases, handicaps and mental illneses. I've seen entire families die from inherited rare diseases. I'm blessed. (5) I'm grateful to have been born in this day and time. Many times i've thought it would be great to have been born a couple of hundred years ago and experience life as it was lived back then.. see first hand how we evolved in technology, health care . Wow! maybe run into a ancester or two. This would give all of us a new slant on life and our place in the universe. (6) I'm grateful for all my friends that have joined me on the path through life. I treasure, cherish and love each and every one of you. I hope i've never taken your love, kindness and generousity for granted. If i have i'm asking your forgiveness and know in your heart it was unintentional. I know you will forgive because thats what friends do. Accept each other for our good and bad deeds in life. (7) I love my fellow man and have tried to be kind, generous and caring. I've been blessed with a education in the medical field. I want to thank all the wonderful people that allowed me in their life during their illness and also to the families thats members was in my care in the last days of their lives. Being a Hospice nurse was a inriching time in my life. I learned just whats inportant in life from persons in their last days before death. (8) Last of all I hope God grants us all a blessing..... Please ..Peace on earth...in your name i pray......Amen
